Live From Central Park: A Far Cry

One of the true pleasures of New York in the summer is hearing classical music in the park. On Tuesday, July 10, WQXR brought you a live broadcast from the Naumburg Bandshell at Central Park featuring the self-conducted chamber orchestra, A Far Cry, all the way from Boston.Hosted by WQXR's Elliott Forrest, "the Criers," as they call themselves, performed a diverse program of Mozart, Glass, Bartók, and Golijov.
